Art Reach Studio Gallery is an initiative of Otway Anglicans, in partnership with artists Francis McMahon and Susan Richards.
Art Reach offers a holistic approach to practising in the Arts.

Art classes available
Francis McMahon, tutoring in watercolours, offers beginners to advanced techniques classes, demonstrations and weekend workshops, for locals, tourists and the wider Otways regional area.
Susan Richards, teaching drawing and book illustration workshops, multi media including collage, demonstrations and group workshops with textiles and up-cycled products crafts.
We are situated in the historic timber town of Beech Forest, on the top of the Otway Ranges. Surrounded by the rainforest and waterfalls, rich with native wildlife and birds and abundant fresh air.
This arts center offers local facilities for art practitioners and buyers within the Colac Otway and surrounding region.
Susan was born in Devon, UK, in 1951 and at the age of 4 migrated with her family to Australia in 1955.
Susan has held solo exhibitions and participated in many others. She has also undertaken numerous book illustration projects, an animated movie project design consultancy and many other community murals and projects.
In her Beech Forest studio Susan continues with many creative endeavours including hand crafted hats and quirky knitted hats and scarves for the cold winters in the Otways, She has an enthusiastic and eclectic clientele who love her diversity of medium and subject and her vividly imaginative creations.
Susan also offers mixed medium classes, Mandala and book illustration workshops.
Susan has been creating pastels recently featuring images of Ballet which have proven to be very popular.
Susan has also been creating hats, bags and beanies from textiles from various sources.
During the last twenty years,Francis has exhibited in many art
shows often taking out prizes for best watercolour, best in show and best local artist. His paintings hang in homes and corporate boardrooms,schools and universities throughout England, Europe, Australia, America and Asia. He has been called on to open exhibitions, judge art shows and perform demonstrations and workshops for Tafe Colleges, art societies and interested groups.
He recently retired from an Artist in Residence position, teaching watercolour techniques to the elderly, many of which suffering the effects of stroke, dementia and high care. He held this position for five years and improved the quality of life for many aged care residents.
Francis has been conducting demonstrations and watercolour techniques classes in his studio for beginners and intermediate students.
